In Sharron Angle's Nevada, you don't fix Social Security, you abolish it.

She doesn't just favor private savings accounts; she wants to abolish Social Security and Medicare right away.

Angle claims seniors would still get their benefits. But beyond that, she wants to phase it out. Under Angle's plan if you just graduated from college and you got your first job, you would be prohibited from Social Security or Medicare.

"We need to phase Medicare and Social Security out in favor of something privatized," Angle said during a May 19 television debate. "I'm saying it can't be fixed. It's broken. Going forward we need to phase it out."
